How to Turn On Self-Destruct Timer on the Telegram App?
To use the automatically delete messages feature on your Telegram account;
1-Launch Telegram on your device.
2-Expand the left panel by clicking on the three dots icon from the top left corner.
3-Select the “Settings” button from the menu.
4-In the next page, tap on the “Privacy and Security” option.
5-Navigate to “Auto-Delete Messages” under the security tab.
6-Here, you will see self-destruct timer options which range from After 1 day to After 1 week, After 1 month, or Set Custom Time. When you select your preferred self-destruct time, you will see a pop-up asking you to confirm the changes. Tap on the “Enable” button to confirm it.
Once you are done and activate this feature, all your future messages will be automatically deleted after the specified period of time. Remember that, for group chats, only the admin can use this feature.
