News: Samsung Could Launch Crypto Exchange Platform

South Korean technology giant Samsung aims to open its own crypto exchange platform in 2023. According to local sources in South Korea, some technology companies including Samsung, have applied to the government to launch a cryptocurrency exchange platform.

The Cryptocurrency industry has been growing in recent years and it has been under the radar of tech companies from all over the world. Many technology giants such as Alphabet, BlackRock, and Samsung have been investing in blockchain Technologies and cryptocurrencies. It looks like Samsung aims to go further by launching its own crypto exchange platform. 

Blockchain Technologies and cryptocurrencies have been one of the most trend topics in recent years. When we check the list of countries where crypto currency investments are so popular, we can see that South Korea is at the top of the list. This is why South Korean companies have been looking forward to investing more in this industry.

According to South Korean news, seven companies in South Korea, including five securities companies and Mirae Asset and Samsung Securities have applied for pre-approval to launch their own crypto exchange platforms in the first quarter of 2023. 

It is not a surprise that Samsung attempted to start its own crypto exchange platform. In the last few years, the company has been investing in blockchain Technologies and cryptocurrencies. On the other hand, the new president of South Korea Yoon Suk-Yeol who was elected in May is very positive about blockchain Technologies.
