Neslihan Atagul is a beautiful Turkish actress, best known for portraying Nihan Sezgin in the famous Turkish tv series Kara Sevda. Her full name is Neslihan Atagul Dogulu. She was born on August 20th of 1992, in Istanbul, Turkey. Her father is of Circassian descent and her mother is of Belarussian origin.
She studied in the theater department at Yeditepe University. Neslihan made her acting debut with portraying the Deniz character in the popular Turkish series Yaprak Dokumu in 2006. In the same year, Neslihan took part in a movie called “Ilk Ask” and she got the “Promising Young Actress” award at the “Golden Ball International Film Festival” in Turkey.
Until 2011, she acted in some commercial projects but never took a role in a movie or tv series. In 2011, she came back to the tv screen with the “Hayat Devam Ediyor” series which is directed by famous Turkish producer Mahsun Kirmizigul.
In 2013, the beautiful and successful actress starred in the tv series “Fatih Harbiye”, which was directed by Sadullah Celen and inspired by Peyami Safa’s novel. In this series, Neslihan shared the leading role with “Kadir Dogulu”, who is her husband now.
After these successful projects, Neslihan Atagul has become one of the most famous actresses on Turkish tv channels. She was offered to share the leading role with other famous Turkish actors, Kaan Urgancioglu and Burak Ozcivit in the tv series called “Kara Sevda” in 2015. She has won many awards with the “Kara Sevda” including Golden Butterfly Award for Best Drama Actress, Seoul International Drama Award for Best Actress.
Neslihan started dating her co-star Kadir Dogulu while they were working on “Fatih Harbiye” in 2013 and the famous couple got married in 2016.
